I grew up in Eastern Iowa - Maquoketa to be exact, and was always active in 4-H, Iowa Beef Council, Iowa Junior Angus Association and school. My dad and mom purchased two purebred Angus steers for me to show during my first year of 4-H, after that I was hooked, and I've have been a farm girl ever since. Looking back on it now, I believe my parents' main reason for doing this was to instill good values and the notion that hard work, determination and persistence pays off. Parents are pretty smart!

In August 1999, I joined the Flynn Wright team after attending Clinton Community College and Iowa State University. I quickly earned the title "Bulldog" but have no clue why! : ) I'm married to Mike and we have two very active sons: Cody and Colton. We enjoy camping, fishing and going on trail rides or wagon rides with our horses and mules. Obviously the outdoors is where you will find our family.

What I Like

  1. Family time
  2. Laughter
  3. Baking/cooking – especially with my boys
  4. Trail riding
  5. Campfires

What I Don't

  1. Late timesheets
  2. "Mom! He's picking on me!"
  3. Icy roads
  4. A messy kitchen - even though mine is right now
  5. Missing a deadline
