I’m from Chicago. At least that’s what I tell people, especially when I’m traveling. I always wanted to be a writer and I actually have a job that pays me to be one. Some days I’m a Jaguar convertible kind of girl. Other days I’m a 1970s Ford Bronco broad. Instead I own a 2001 Honda that smells bad after it rains. But it moves fast and I like that. I have dogs because they’re less work than kids. I love the way music has the power to make any situation change. And when I’m home alone, I check behind the shower curtain for boogiemen. I don’t kill spiders. I have the mouth of a truck driver – and actually used to smoke like one. I wish I had a cool accent. I’m a very frugal, thrifty person and will brag about a good deal. I almost always try to speak Spanish when ordering Mexican food. And nothing drives me crazier than people who don’t know that toilet paper should roll over not under, and the difference between your, you’re, there, their and they’re.

Did You Know?

I considered changing careers and becoming a nurse in my early 20s but realized it would never work because I hate rashes.
