In an effort to reach out to a younger demographic, Josephs teamed up with Boston-based mobile marketing company SCVNGR and Flynn Wright to host the first annual Josephs Jewelers Diamond Dash. Through a text messaging treasure hunt, more than 400 couples raced through the streets of Des Moines in hopes of winning a $12,000 diamond engagement ring. Flynn Wright supported the event through planning and coordination with SCVNGR, public relations efforts and the development of web, print, TV and radio promotions.
