On March 10, North America's fastest home Internet service made its world debut in Waterloo, Iowa. Mediacom launched Ultra 105 (as in Megabits), and Ultra 50, in Waterloo to demonstrate its technological commitment to franchise cities of every size. To heighten local interest, Flynn Wright created invitations likening the event to the launch of a high-end production automobile. Flynn Wright then created posters and a launch video for the PR event, and Mediacom set up a bank of computers connected to the new Internet services for participants to sample.
