Strategic Communications/PR Professional

Flynn Wright is hiring a strategic communications/public relations professional to assist with PR content development for client public relations and social media initiatives. This individual will play a key role in planning, creating and implementing content across several PR platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fact-finding and researching various topics, identifying and interviewing subject matter experts, and writing articles, blogs, news releases and other pieces that be leveraged across a comprehensive content plan.
What You’ll Do
- Plan content topics based on client products and segments, objectives and priorities; outline direction for articles, blogs, releases and other written pieces that complement overall strategic planning.
- Research and write content, and adapt it for specific needs.
- Assist the PR team with other elements of PR work beyond content, which could include media relations, social media, audience engagements and other efforts.
- Be versatile and flexible, putting diverse skills and experience to work both proactively and reactively.
You’re an ambitious strategic communications professional with knowledge of basic PR management principles and best practices, and how content is used to progress PR initiatives. You have exposure to and an appreciation for strategic PR planning and implementation and are skilled in leveraging different communication platforms and mediums. You are a confident and credible individual who can quickly earn clients’ trust as an extension of their communications team. You are personally driven, with an impressive work ethic and skilled in a variety of communications abilities. You appreciate teamwork and an agency environment focused on client service.
