It was our job to reinforce exactly why, from the performance of their products to the dependability of their deliveries, more mulch producers trusted Colorbiotics than any other brand in the business. We started with a positioning line that could only be said by the best: Trust what’s true.

Take your pick. Colorbiotics sells mulch colorant — not mulch — so we focused on the brilliant, resilient liquid their customers were buying by the truckload. This meant updating color palettes to feature droplets and tapping into 3D animation to demonstrate the science inside every drop. Any photos were done under controlled lab lighting or in action at production sites. Backyards? None of our business.

Like a box of chocolates. We worked with the R&D team at Colorbiotics to create a more literal touchpoint for customers. The swatches in this palette — custom-cut cubes colored in small batches by their lab — were the first of their kind. We packaged them up into a high-impact mailer for customers to see and feel firsthand.
