I grew up in the small town of Missouri Valley, Iowa, where I was always wanting to leave to go to a big city. Being surrounded by Council Bluffs and Omaha, I always thought I would start there and end up in California. Although Des Moines isn’t close to an ocean, is sure is amazing. Throughout my life, I was always apart of everything; gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, track, softball, cheer and dance and was even a college cheerleader at South Dakota State University. This has caused me to have hobbies such as weightlifting, biking, hiking, and anything else that might cause you to break a sweat. My boyfriend and I love finding random things to do to waste our time, and we are currently on a racquetball kick. When we’re not playing racquetball, we are DIYing our next piece of furniture.
