We’re looking for a Media Buyer & Planner to lead and deliver the exceptional work that clients expect from our agency. Media Buyer/Planner should have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading clients and developing comprehensive marketing strategies and should be able to show a proven track record of running business within an agency or agency-like environment.

Note: This is a full-time, on-site role located in our corporate office in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

• Diligent and ongoing study of media tactics and evolving digital landscape.
• Create complex omni-channel media plans built around thoughtful strategy.
• Negotiate with a firm but fair approach, putting client value at the forefront.
• Establish, maintain, and communicate deadlines for material delivery to all appropriate individuals.
• Maintain agency media schedules, create back-end reporting, and offer thoughtful insight on campaign results.
• Manage day to day contact with media vendors.
• Alert media director/account services of special media offers/placement opportunities, etc.
• Maintain current program skills related to the performance of daily job functions: Strata, Microsoft, Google, and others as deemed necessary.

• College degree preferred.
• MUST have the ability to think strategically and offer valuable insight on media execution as it applies to achievement of client goals.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Hands-on experience managing Demand Side Platform.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
• Other projects as directed by department director.

You’re a talented, energetic individual that can research, plan, and buy all forms of media. Ideal candidate must have digital and emerging media experience, with a minimum of 5 years buying experience. Agency and Strata experience is a plus.
