We’re experiencing rapid growth in direct mail space and have an immediate opening for a direct mail graphic designer to join our team. The right individual will possess skills with designing and versioning for both branded and high-response direct mail campaigns.

Note: This is a full-time, on-site role located in Des Moines, Iowa.

• Create and lead versioning of large-scale direct mail campaigns.
• Design additional advertising and sales collateral for variety of clients.
• Expand skill sets with work in email design and development, and digital advertising design.
• Ensure creative meets needs, standards and values of each brand.
• Produce internal sales and marketing material to promote the agency.

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of business experience.
• Great communication skills, and proactive problem-solver who’s eager to learn about the business of our clients.
• You have comprehensive knowledge on core competencies like media placement, the role of research, interactive design, and direct consumer response approaches.
• You don’t just take orders from the client. You know when an idea can be better, and you know how to push for it. Even in the middle of chaos, you’re able to multitask to make sure creative is sharp and clients are happy.

You have a high IQ for direct mail design tactics. You’re detail oriented and can work on 50+ versions of a letter and make sure the same level of quality standards is applied to all. You can bring forth new design ideas that follow best practice and yet push creative in the direct mail space. You’re a hard worker who can advance multiple projects for multiple clients within the same day without sacrificing attention to detail or losing your passion for inspired design.
